If it Hadn’t Been for the Lord
I recently read Psalm 124 and was drawn to the words and the style of this particular Psalm. It reminded me of a season in my life and the Lord had walked with me every step. The line “If it had not been for the Lord” is a worthy statement to consider and give some thought. What would your life or a season in your life look like without the Lord? Psalms on Slow-Mo
All throughout my life I have read a Psalm here or there. I have looked up Psalms to suit my mood or current life situation. But one thing I have never done was to go one by one through the Psalms. At the beginning of the year I decided to slow down and read through the Psalms from the beginning. My husband and I had prayer on our hearts in a big way and a felt that praying Scripture was missing. As we were beginning to make scripture prayer a routine we found ourselves in Psalms a lot.
